Partner in the law firm of Wallace, Brown & Schwartz, Pasadena, California
Hello to you from George M. Wallace, the editor and principal writer of this blog.
I am a partner in the small Pasadena, California, law firm of Wallace, Brown & Schwartz.
I have been admitted to practice in California since 1981, and practice in both state and federal trial and appellate courts within the state. I earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designation in 1991, and have been active since then in the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Chapters of the CPCU Society.
My practice centers on litigation in the fields of insurance coverage and insurance "bad faith" (for both insurers and insureds) and defense of professional liability claims (in particular defense of professional negligence claims against veterinarians), with forays into general business litigation and appellate practice.
This blog will focus on new developments affecting California insurance and tort law, as well as any legal topics that happen to catch my fancy and that I think might interest our readers.
Views expressed on this blog are my own, and should not be attributed to anyone other than myself. In particular, they do not necessarily reflect the views of my partners or of any of my clients.
Moreover, none of the commentary on this blog should be considered legal advice. As wiser bloggers than I have said, repeatedly: "Legal advice you pay for: this is free."
I also author a personal blog focusing on culture and politics, and anything else that I happen to be interested in at that moment, under the name of A Fool in the Forest at https://declarationsandexclusions.typepad.com/foolblog.
